Film Screening and Panel Discussion: "Period Piece," by Emily Culpepper

Emily Culpepper, MDiv '74, ThD '83, Professor of Religious Studies and director of Women's Studies, University of Redlands, will describe the motivations and process behind the making of "Period Piece." Harvey G. Cox, Jr., Hollis Professor of Divinity at HDS, will introduce the film, which will be followed by a panel discussion with Karen King, Winn Professor of Ecclesiastical History at HDS; Sarah Peck, MDiv II, student producer and director of The Vagina Monologues; and Gannit Ankori, Associate Professor of Art History and Theory at Hebrew University and WSRP Research Associate. Co-sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, the Women's Studies in Religion Program, the Committee for the Study of Women and Gender in Religion, and the Office of Ministry Studies.
