Graduate employment and further study:
Harvard Divinity School surveys its alumni annually at the one-year anniversary of their graduation. For the survey for the class graduating in 2011, 92% of the responding graduates indicated appropriate vocational placement. Only 8% indicated that they were neither employed nor in graduate school. 53% indicate that they were employed. Another 16% reported a combination of both employment and enrollment in a graduate program, and 22% indicated that they were exclusively enrolled in graduate school. 23% of those reporting indicated an intention to apply to a graduate school program in the near future; another 10% indicated an intention to pursue ordained ministry.
