The Office of Academic Administration directs the administration of academic life at Harvard Divinity School. This includes:

• Oversight of faculty affairs:

  • Faculty support
  • All faculty (permanent, visiting, adjunct) and research associate appointments
  • Faculty human resources
  • Faculty searches
  • Faculty finances, budgets, and research allocations

• Financial, budgeting, and curricular planning, in cooperation with the associate dean for faculty and curricular affairs

• School calendar and event coordination:

  • Annual named lectures
  • Special conferences

• Administrative oversight of the Summer Leadership Institute
