Greek Exegesis of the Gospel of Matthew

Description

The course will be devoted to a close reading and interpretation of the Gospel of Matthew. The Greek text will be discussed with specific attention paid to literary structures, textual critical issues, historical context, and history of interpretation. At least two semesters of Greek are required; the course might fulfill the requirement for a fourth semester of Greek.
