Spirits in Latina Literature

Description

This course will engages literary treatments of spirits in Latin American and Latina literatures and their implications for describing the intersections between the religious imagination and social critique. Readings will include works by Gabriel GarcĂ­a Marquez, Isabel Allende, Ana Castillo, and others.
