Unitarian Universalist Religious Education: Seminar

Description
A seminar in the philosophy and practice of Unitarian Universalist religious education, including a brief historical overview of its foundations, development of a personal philosophy of religious education, an examination of contemporary issues in UU religious education, and a review of curricula and materials currently in use in UU congregations. The course will focus on the congregation as an educating community, stressing the role of ministers in life-span religious education. This course or its equivalent is required of all those preparing for ordination to ministry in the Unitarian Universalist Association.
