Faith Lutheran Church - Cambridge
Contact Person(s):Rev. Timothy J. Stein
Faith Lutheran Church is a vital, growing urban church in one of the most diverse and rapidly changing neighborhoods in Cambridge. The majority of new members and friends are in their twenties and thirties. Most of the children in the church are under three years old. An Eritrean prayer and worship group and Calvary Praise and Worship Center are important parts of the community of Faith.
The church runs Faith Kitchen, a community meals program for hungry people in which about fifty people gather to cook and eat together twice a month. The program is co-managed by members of Faith and the nearby synagogue.
Faith is an active member of the Boston Cambridge Mission Initiative (a coalition of Lutheran urban congregations) and the Boston Metro Conference of New England Lutheran churches.
