Organization Description:

This project is designed for participation in all aspects and functions of ministry within a small but vital urban neighborhood church. North Prospect Union is a church which seeks to witness to and experience God's presence within all of life, paying particular attention to a pastoral ministry, theological and spiritual development, to issues of social justice and to community service. We are interested in student ministers who desire an opportunity for preaching, teaching and other participation in the whole life of the church. North Prospect Union is an Open and Affirming Congregation.

Opportunities for Student Involvement:

Tasks may include: 1) regular participation in Sunday worship services as preacher, liturgist, or reader; 2) leadership in adult study groups; or in young persons' Christian education; 3) participation in various outreach and mission projects of the church; 4) participation in ministries to Tufts University students; 5) participation in evangelism and hospitality efforts; 6) pastoral visitation; 7) committee work in the areas of worship, social justice, mission and outreach, church administration and pastoral care.
