Organization Description:

Peace Lutheran Church is a suburban congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Through its forty years of ministry in Wayland, Peace has been the ministry site for seminarians from university divinity schools and from Lutheran seminaries. Students would be able to explore their interests in ministry in a religiously diverse suburb. Students with special interests in early chilldhood education would be able to explore their vocations through involvement with our Little Dove Center. Students with special interest in disabilities ministry would have an opportunity to work with Diaconal Minister Susan Lindberg Haley in her ministry to people with disabilities.

Opportunities for Student Involvement:

The student would be expected to spend 15 hours per week on site. Expectations and specific tasks and goals would be negotiated with the student at the beginning of the term.

Supervision:
