St. Paul's Episcopal Church
The setting is a suburban, middle-class Episcopal Church of some 310 family units located 35 minutes north of Cambridge, close to routes 495 and 93, in a still growing town. Many younger families are joining the congregation. The people tend to be conservative in churchmanship, yet open to new ideas. The Holy Communion is celebrated at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, and the main service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday alternates between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer. The value of such a setting is found in the preparation for parish ministry in the average Episcopal Church in this country. All facets of parish life are found in microcosm and can be examined.
