2024 Summer Language Program Dates: Applications accepted beginning Friday, March 15, 2024. SLP classes to run from Monday, June 10, to Thursday, August 1, 2024.
| Wednesday, March 15 | Start of SLP admissions/CARAT webportal opens up to accept applications. |
| Friday, May 3 | Initial application deadline. |
| Monday, May 6 | Acceptance emails are sent out; if courses did not receive more than five students, those may be canceled and notifications will also be sent out to applicants. Additional applications will be accepted until May 30, 2024. |
| Thursday, May 30 | Applications portal will close. No more changes regarding switching language courses will be accepted. |
| Monday, June 10 | First day of SLP classes. |
| On or before Monday, June 10 | 100 percent refund. |
| Between Tuesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 20 |
50 percent refund. |
| Wednesday, June 19 | Juneteenth, holiday - no classes and/or sections;all HDS and Harvard University offices and libraries are closed. |
| After Thursday, June 20 | No refunds. |
| Tuesday, July 4 | July Fourth/Independence Day, holiday - no classes and/or sections; all HDS and Harvard University offices and libraries are closed. |
| Thursday, August 1 | Final exams/end of the SLP 2024. |
