Student Voices
In corresponding with prospective students, one question is consistently asked: "What is life at HDS really like?"
From the academics and the student experience to University resources and planning for life in the city, perhaps the best way to gain a genuine sense of life at Harvard Divinity School is to interact with someone who is currently living it. Students from each of our degree programs, representing a vast array of academic interests, religious affiliations, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, life experiences, and ways of navigating HDS, have come together to provide firsthand resources for prospective students regarding what it means to be a member of the HDS community.
Through our Student Blog, prospective applicants can read the candid reflections of our current students on such topics as diversity, faculty access, courses, and the realities of studying in a pluralistic environment, among many other subjects. Our Ask a Student program provides prospective students with the opportunity to ask specific questions of our student admissions representatives and other members of the HDS community regarding all aspects of both the application process and life at Harvard Divinity School.
