Is HDS affiliated with any denomination?
Harvard Divinity School is a nondenominational, multireligious divinity school. Our
students come from, pursue academic study of, and prepare for ministry in a
variety of different religious communities.
Where can I find out about opportunities for ministry training?
The Office of Ministry Studies provides
oversight and support for students doing ministry training and field education.
For more information, please contact the
ministry studies faculty and staff, or one of the
denominational counselors.
Where do HDS students live?
Students find a variety of living situations in the Cambridge and Boston
area. There is no on-campus housing or dormitory for the Divinity School. The
Office
of Student Life provides information about housing
on its website. The Harvard
Housing Office also provides information about Harvard-owned rental
units and maintains searchable databases for students to use in finding apartments and
roommates.
Where can I find out about student organizations?
HDS has many student-led organizations. The Office of Student Life
maintains a current list, with brief descriptions, of all student
organizations.
Where can I learn about events on campus?
Please visit the HDS
News and Events page to learn more about what's going on at HDS. Recent
lectures, conferences, and other events can be viewed at
Events Online. You may also visit

for information on activities taking place across the wider campus.

I'd like to learn more about the spiritual and religious life of the
campus. Could you tell me about worship services that take place at HDS?
The staff in the
Office of Religious and Spiritual Life provide
information on the programs and events they sponsor.
Is it possible for students to eat meals on campus?
The Rockefeller Café is open Monday-Friday, 7:30
am-2:30 pm
during the school year. HDS students may also
eat at any of the 13 on-campus
restaurants run by Harvard Dining Services.
