Talk With a Student

Community Tea

One of the best ways to learn about life at Harvard Divinity School is to contact a current student. Harvard Divinity School's Ask a Student program allows prospective students to ask questions of students who are currently enrolled at HDS.

Prospective students are invited to inquire about any aspect of student life at HDS. Prospective students may be interested in being in touch with with a current student who:

  • shares similar academic interests or career goals
  • comes from the same geographic location
  • is seeking ordination or pursuing ministry preparation in the same faith community
  • has made use of particular resources at Harvard University
  • can speak to practical concerns, such as housing or finding a job on campus

Two student admissions representatives coordinate this program and monitor email inquiries and voice messages. They will either respond directly to your inquiry or forward your question to a current student with relevant interests or experience.

If you are interested in speaking with a current student, please send a detailed email message to ask_students@hds.harvard.edu or leave a voicemail message at 617.495.0639.
