Visiting the School
We encourage prospective applicants to visit the Harvard Divinity School
campus. Below is a list of activities available for your
visit. Please review them carefully and contact our office if you would
like to schedule an information session or tour.
Information Sessions and Tours
- Formal interviews are not required for admission. Instead, our
assistant directors of admissions offer small group information sessions to
prospective students.
- Information sessions are offered Mondays at 11 am
or Thursdays at 1 pm
until Thursday, December 10, 2009. Information sessions will
resume after March 26, 2010.
- To schedule an information session, please call 617.495.5796 or email
admissions@hds.harvard.edu.
We request that you contact our office to schedule your campus visit
at least one week in advance.
- Campus tours with student admissions representatives are available to
prospective students throughout the year. In the summer, tours are
available on a limited basis. Please inquire about a tour when
scheduling an information session.
Accommodations, Directions, and Parking
- See Directions to the School for information on getting to HDS,
including a link to the campus map.
- Parking is extremely limited at the Divinity School and at the
University in general. A one-day visitor pass is available for $10 and may be obtained from the
Parking
Office. We strongly encourage the use of public transportation.
- For those planning an overnight visit, our Accommodations
page lists hotels, inns, and bed-and-breakfasts.
