Giving to HDS
Alumni and friends of Harvard Divinity School can have an impact every year on our students, on our campus, and on the world by contributing to the HDS annual fund. The fund provides vital financial resources for the research, teaching, and learning that takes place at HDS.
Your gift has an impact on our students, as we can only continue and expand our aggressive financial aid packages if the fund is strong.
Your gift has an impact on our campus, by helping us equip our students and faculty with advanced tools and facilities.
Your gift has an impact on the world, by allowing us to graduate leaders who are ready to serve a religiously complex society.
In 2012-13, 1,244 alumni and friends gave $489,000 to HDS. This was the highest number of donors in a decade and a 15 percent increase over 2011-2012! Thank you!
We can do more!
Dean David N. Hempton's vision is to provide financial aid to meet the full demonstrated need of every student; to build the HDS faculty and make the School the preeminent center for the study of global religion; and to bring the Divinity School into the public discussion about religion and its impact on the world's biggest challenges. Every annual fund dollar you donate will go toward realizing this vision.
All gifts have an impact
Gifts of any amount matter. Without gifts of $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 in 2012-13, the School would have had thousands of dollars less for student financial aid and other critical priorities!
We are grateful to our leadership-level donors. Gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized with membership on the HDS Leadership Council.
