HDS Alumni/ae: Please take a moment to update your contact
information via post.harvard
or by sending an email message to alums@hds.harvard.edu.
Harvard Divinity School is proud to have a family of more than
5,000 living alumni/ae around the globe, whose careers span from
ministry to medicine, academia to business, government to the arts,
nonprofit organizations, and beyond.
All HDS graduates are members of the Harvard Divinity School
Alumni/ae Association, which provides a network for keeping
alumni/ae connected with each other and with the School. Their involvement provides guidance
and counsel to the institution, and helps to enrich the experiences of
current students. From the Alumni/ae Council to mentoring, to
event planning and participation, there are a number of ways alumni/ae
can engage with Harvard Divinity School.
Opportunities and benefits include:
Publications
All HDS alumni/ae receive free subscriptions to the School's two
flagship publications. Harvard Divinity Bulletin is the School's magazine focusing on contemporary
issues in the study of religion and theology; shorter, opinion columns; book
and arts reviews; and poetry, and is published four times per year. Harvard
Divinity Today, a newsmagazine introduced in 2005, is published
three times a year and features news and notes about alumni/ae and the School's faculty,
students, and staff.
HDS alumni/ae are encouraged to submit content to be considered for publication in the
Harvard Divinity Bulletin and Harvard Divinity Today. Submit story
ideas to alums@hds.harvard.edu.
Event Planning and Participation
Harvard Divinity School alumni/ae are invited to alumni/ae
events
on campus and across the country, including the annual Alumni/ae
Dinner and Alumni/ae Day, held each June in conjunction with HDS
Commencement. Alumni/ae are also welcome at all public
HDS events, and can attend events
sponsored by the Harvard Alumni Association.
Alumni/ae can also be an important part of making events
possible. Submit program suggestions, including offers to host or
coordinate events, to alums@hds.harvard.edu.

Harvard Divinity School's Office of Career Services
provides resources for alumni/ae, including vocational counseling, an
annual career and networking fair, access to forums and
workshops, networking assistance, résumé/CV review, dossier service, access to
job listings, a resource library, a host of online resources, mentoring
opportunities, and opportunities to post job and internship announcements from
employees.
Additionally, HDS alumni/ae may access Harvard University's
alumni/ae career services database, Crimson
