Religion and Filmmaking Filmmaker Valarie Kaur, MTS '07, directed and produced the 2006 documentary Divided We Fall: Americans in the Aftermath. Alex Kronemer, MTS '85, is co-founder of Unity Productions Foundation, which produced Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet in 2002. Current projects include Prince Among Slaves and Medieval Spain: Three Faiths, One Land. Kurt Shaw, MTS '97, is co-founder and executive director of Shine a Light, an international organization that serves Latin American street children, coordinating with other nonprofits to provide arts education, including documentary filmmaking techniques. Diana L. Eck, Professor of Comparative Religion and Indian Studies, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Member of the Faculty of Divinity, introduced the panelists and moderated this event.
