The Harvard Divinity School Bookstore closed at the end of the
2006-07 academic year, after serving the Divinity School community for almost 50
years.
Books for Courses
Textbooks and other books for many HDS
courses may be purchased at the Harvard Coop,
1400 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge. Many faculty members also
provide reading lists, including ISBNs, on their course websites, so that
students have sufficient information to purchase texts for their courses through other local bookstores
(see the American Booksellers Association
or Open
Directory lists) or from
online retailers.
To the extent possible,
Andover-Harvard Theological Library holds titles listed on course reading lists on reserve at the circulation desk.
For more information, see the library's Services
for Harvard Students: Course Reserves.
Faculty Books
Books written by and about members of the Faculty of Divinity are available
for browsing in Andover-Harvard Theological Library; the display is located
across from the circulation desk, to the left as one enters the library.
The library also has at least one circulating copy of each faculty title within
its regular collections.
