CSWR Events

The Center for the Study of World Religions sponsors a variety of academic programs designed to engage scholars and students of religious studies in what is becoming an increasingly globalized field. These programs include lectures, film screenings, conferences, panel discussions, and more. CSWR events are wide ranging, covering the historical study of the religions of the world, as well as lived traditions and current events. Each year, the CSWR staff and faculty organizers select a theme around which to focus many of these activities. The 2009-10 program theme will be Ecologies of Human Flourishing. The CSWR also hosts a number of ad hoc events, which are not necessarily related to the year's theme.

See the Calendar for complete information on upcoming events. Video and audio presentations of recent lectures, photo galleries, and academic papers resulting from past events are available on our resources page.
