We are thrilled to announce that in fiscal year 2009, 1,140 alumni and
friends of Harvard Divinity School
contributed $479,234 to The HDS Fund, providing critical support for the
students and faculty of HDS. This represents an 11 percent increase over
the previous fiscal year—a particularly impressive result in light of the
current economy.
The HDS Fund provides unrestricted funding to the School, funding that is
especially important as we
face the challenges of the economic downturn. The HDS Fund helps pay for
graduate financial aid, faculty salaries, and other fundamental costs associated
with Divinity School operations, buildings and grounds, and community life.
Thank you to all of our donors for being partners in our success! We
look forward to continuing to raise the bar for HDS in fiscal year 2010.
