Founded in 1911, Andover-Harvard Theological Library is located on the Harvard Divinity School campus, adjacent to Andover Hall and the beautiful campus green. Our facilities are open year-round and include group and individual study spaces, quiet reading areas, and the Student Computer Lab.
Our primary mission is to support the teaching and research activities of Harvard University students, faculty, and staff. We also welcome affiliates of the Boston Theological Institute, local clergy, and other visitors with legitimate research needs to consult our collections of books, journals, electronic resources, rare books, manuscripts, and archival materials.
We welcome the opportunity to teach students how to discover, evaluate, and use appropriate resources for the study of religion at HDS.
