Biographical Information:
Mary Minerva Lamphear Metz (1884-ca. 1960) was born in LeRoy, New York. She was the daughter of the Rev. Dewitt Lamphear, a Universalist minister. In 1910, she married Universalist minister Rev. William J. Metz who served parishes in New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Maine, and Vermont; he also served as mayor of Central Square, New York.
