The Khasi Hills Unitarian movement in India began when Hajjom Kissor Singh started questioning some of the Christian doctrines he had been taught and made contact with the Brahmo Samaj and then with Jabez Sunderland in 1887. Photo of the Khasi Unitarian Conference 1907, with representatives from four churches. H.K. Singh is identified on the back of the picture as reclining on the ground in the lower left [bMS 12021/2].
