E-Research @ Harvard Libraries
E-Research @ Harvard Libraries is a new way for Harvard users to find e-resources and e-journals. Using E-Research, users can
- locate e-resources by name, keyword, or subject
- locate e-journal titles in a single alphabetical listing
- locate articles and book reviews in multiple e-resources with a single search ("Quick Search")
- save and manage search results, e-resource sets, and lists of favorite e-journals
- click on "Find It @ Harvard" buttons for all search results to easily locate items online or on the shelves at Harvard libraries
"Quick Search," with a Google-like interface, is designed to let you enter a search and quickly get to results from a few pre-selected databases related to your topic. If you choose the Philosophy/Religion set of resources, you can search Academic Search Premier, ATLA Religion Database, Catholic Periodical and Literature Index, Index Islamicus, Philosopher's Index, as well as the JSTOR collections of periodicals in religion and philosophy all at once.
Log in with your Harvard ID and PIN number to use "My Research," where you can create sets of resources and save them in folders for easy access in the future or to search them together.
As with the introduction of any new library resource, we are interested in having your feedback. To give us your comments, or for more information about E-Research, please contact a reference librarian by email, by phone at 617.496.AHTL (2485), or in person. Additional information is also available in this "Getting Started" guide.
