Book Conservator's Open House

Curious about what a book conservator does or how books are restored and preserved?

Join Doris Freitag, the library's conservator with many years experience at Harvard, as she demonstrates washing book pages (leaving the print intact), shows samples of books at various stages of repair and restoration, and more.

Whether you have only a few minutes to spare or are able to linger, help us close out the month-long celebration of Theological Libraries Month by coming to the Conservator's Open House, Tuesday, October 30, from 11 am to 1 pm in Room 308 on the third floor of the library.
