About Search and Quick Search
Quick Search is a fast, easy way to search the e-resources most frequently used at Harvard Divinity School. Results include both books and articles, with many articles available in full text. Quick Search is a useful place to begin research, as it delivers results both from the HOLLIS catalog and from several of this library's most popular e-resources: the ATLA Religion Database, JSTOR, and Academic Search Premier.
Search offers access to a larger set of e-resources that cover scholarship in religion. Choose from one or more of the Quick Search e-resources, plus several more specialized tools:
- Catholic Periodical and Literature Index
- Index Islamicus
- Index to Jewish Periodicals
- New Testament Abstracts
- Old Testament Abstracts
- Rambi: The Index of Articles on Jewish Studies.
Quick Search and Search are not designed to be comprehensive in scope or to provide a sophisticated search interface. Many important e-resources are incompatible with this searching technology. For in-depth searching, it is best to use the native interface of the individual e-resource, browse our directory of e-resources by topic, or consult a research librarian to learn about important resources available elsewhere.
Access to Search and Quick Search
