2012 Business across Religious Traditions
The Role of Your Faith in Global Capitalism: Does It Have a Place?
Drawing on Harvard Divinity School's distinguished tradition of comparative studies in religion and the resources of one of world's leading research universities, the Business across Religious Traditions series explores the opportunities and challenges found at the intersection of religion, religious practices, and global capitalism.
On February 1, Bill George, Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School and former chairman and CEO of Medtronic, presented "The Role of Your Faith in Global Capitalism: Does It Have a Place?" The talk, held at the Harvard Faculty Club in New York City, was moderated by Ronald F. Thiemann, Bussey Professor of Theology at HDS and director of the Business across Religious Traditions seminars.
