On Desire and Gender

On December 12, 2005, Sarah Coakley, the Mallinckrodt Professor of Divinity, a systematic theologian and philosopher of religion at HDS who has worked extensively in gender theory, spoke about her new thoughts and work. Her reflections are followed by short responses from two graduate students, Cameron Partridge and Robert Davis, after which the discussion was opened up to the audience present.

The Study of Women and Gender in Religion Forum is organized by Janet Gyatso, Hershey Professor of Buddhist Studies, who introduces this talk.
