U.S. Policy and Bosnia: Religion, Human Rights, and Peace

On April 5-6, 2001, the Center for the Study of Values in Public Life held a two-day conference entitled U.S. Policy and Bosnia: Religion, Human Rights, and Peace. On Thursday evening, a public presentation on the topic was held, featuring John Shattuck, former United States Ambassador to the Czech Republic and Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, with responses by Jim O'Brien, State Department official from 1989-2001, and Paul Mojzes, former president of Christians Associated for Relationships with Eastern Europe.
