'A Life to the Full'
Krister Stendahl, Professor of Divinity Emeritus and
former Dean, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the age of 86. A
memorial service was held on May 16 in the Memorial
Church, Harvard Yard. Stendahl was remarkable for the
quality of his scholar's mind and for his ever-humane response to issues
of justice in the world. We shall miss him at every turn.
