The Billings Preaching Prize (April 2008)
Each spring, Harvard Divinity School's Office of Ministry
Studies organizes
the Billings Preaching Prize Competition, an annual preaching competition open to second- and
third-year MDiv students. The finalists delivered their sermons at the
Wednesday Noon Service on April 23, 2008. The 2008 winners are:

First Place: Sheila Glenn, MDiv III
-
Runners-up: Timothy Pantoja, MDiv II; Julia Hamilton, MDiv III;
Chris Tsichlis, MDiv III; and Gary Brinn, MDiv III.

Victoria Gaisford, MDiv III, won the prize for best
reading of scripture.
