The Billings Preaching Prize (April 2009)
Each spring, Harvard Divinity School's Office of Ministry
Studies organizes
the Billings Preaching Prize Competition, an annual preaching competition open to second- and
third-year MDiv students. The finalists delivered their sermons at the
Wednesday Noon Service on April 15, 2009. The 2009 winners are:

First Place: Shaundra Cunningham, MDiv II

Runners-up: Scott Dickison, MDiv III; Josh Eaton, MDiv II; Elissa Johnk, MDiv
III; Anna Kreisle, MDiv III; Elizabeth Leavitt, MDiv III; Shu Taubes, MDIV III; and Nathan Willard, MDiv II

Elissa Johnk won the prize for best
reading of scripture.
