Harvard Divinity School, through its master of divinity program, prepares men and women for a variety of denominational and public service ministries. The Office of Ministry Studies (OMS) has special oversight of several features of the MDiv program, including:

supervised field education (about 200 sites)
assurance that students meet ministry arts competencies
provision of denominational guidance and programming
development and offering of programs germane to ministry
with the rest of the faculty, the teaching of courses in ministry related areas.
