Project: The BTI is seeking to work with a number of persons connected directly with the BTI and through their schools, toward the end of building capacity for restorative justice, religion and conflict transformation, and track-two diplomacy. We are looking to highlight work related to the following areas: a) the Decade to Overcome Violence of the World Council of Churches; b) issues of Inter-Religious Understanding and Dialogue; c) issues of Restorative Justice (in possible association with the Center for Restorative Justice); and d) on conflict transformation so as to create opportunities for mutual learning and concrete skill-building in this field, and to connect practitioners and activists with others interested in putting conflict resolution into action.

Student Involvement: We are looking for persons who will be involved directly with the BTI, or, while participating in other designated sites, are willing to be involved in a gathering once a month to discuss restorative justice and conflict transformation principles and how they can be put into practice in a variety of sites. Field Education sites include refugees and immigration ministry, prison ministry, social agencies and churches involved in similar work, as well as work with policymakers and track-two diplomats. Persons interested in becoming involved should contact the BTI.

Arts of Ministry Competencies: Pastoral Care and Counseling. Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Administration and Program Development. Public Leadership, Community Organizing and Planning. Denominational Polity.
