25 Beacon Street Contact Person: Dena Brayden Project: The Special Assistant to the President for Pastoral Care and Public Witness provides research support for sermons and speeches. Student Involvement: The student will work closely with the President of the UUA in a variety of tasks including sermon and speech research, sermon editing, creating worship services or integrating their elements, preparing other presentations (for board meetings and committee work), and serving as a Public Witness Liaison to other social change organizations. Arts of Ministry Competencies: Preaching and Worship. Denominational Polity. Supervision: Regular meetings with the supervisor and with the Special Assistant to the President for International and Interfaith Affairs.
