Project: Harvard Korean Mission is an ecumenical Korean-American congregation at Harvard University campus. Our goal is to minister to the community in which we are studying by developing new areas of emphases, targeted to Korean-American students, families, and the hungry/homeless population. We have a great concern for the race problems and world peace. We are an "evangelical, full-gospel" ministry with an emphasis on personal discipleship, the authority of the Word of God and worship. An intern would have to be comfortable with an empowerment ministry.

Student Involvement: The student will serve as assistant to the pastor. Although the student will focus primarily on outreach - Youth Ministry, developing programs for youth in the neighborhood, worship and mission, the student will be involved in all aspects of church life.

Arts of Ministry Competencies: Preaching and Worship. Pastoral Care and Counseling. Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Administration and Program Development. Public Leadership, Community Organizing and Planning.

Supervision: The student minister will meet weekly with the supervisor for reflection on tasks of ministry.
