Project:
MAC works to improve the living conditions and life opportunities for children from low income, racially diverse, and limited English speaking families, and of children with disabilities. It concentrates on public education, child health and welfare, and children's legal rights to ensure that children and families have full access to the services and resources to which they are entitled. The student will be working as support staff for Task Force on Children Affected by Domestic Violence.
Student
Involvement: Student will be involved in project coordination, research, writing, some database maintenance, and public policy advocacy.
Arts of Ministry Competencies:
Administration and Program Development.
Public Leadership, Community Organizing and Planning.
Supervision: The student will work under the supervision of senior attorneys or senior poilicy analysts.
