Project: The Cedar Tree Foundation is a grant-making foundation that funds environmental organizations in areas such as sustainable agriculture, environmental justice, environmental health, and environmental education. The mission of the CTF is to support excellent environmental activism around the United States.

Student Involvement: The student will help the foundation increase its understanding of a selected field via internet and library research, networking and interviews, and the screening of proposals. Also, the student will work on the proposal process itself, both gaining knowledge of how the grant making process works and helping in the screening and processing of funding requests. The student will also assist the foundation's staff in the daily tasks of running a small office.

Arts of Ministry Competencies: Administration and Program Development. Public Leadership, Community Organizing and Planning.

Supervision: Meet with the Executive Director weekly.

Number of Students: 1

Total Stipend: $4,000.00

Type of Stipend: direct pay from site (sc 4000)
