Jewish Family Service of Metrowest is a unique non-sectarian social service agency that provides services based on the foundation of traditional Jewish values of "tikkun olam" (repairing the world). Area of concentration would be on working with elders in the community as well as creating caring communities within congregations. Jewish Family Service of Metrowest coordinates Healthy Partners, a program that supports the health of low income elders as well as Healing Partners which trains volunteers in all faith communities to care for other congregants. Other programs focus on visiting isolated elders, outreach to Jewish elders living in community nursing homes and assisted living facilities as well as bereavement, caregiver and chronic illness support.
