155 Powderhouse Boulevard Contact Person: Karl Gustafson Project: A Presbyterian Church, located in Somerville, is in an urban, university setting. Opportunity to participate in the full range of pastoral ministries including liturgy, preaching, education, pastoral care and administration. Of particular interest for the coming year is someone who would like to start an evening alternative worship program and/or a small group for college students and young adults. Student Involvement: The church is involved in justice and peace ministries. A portion of the student's work may be with this work. Other focus options include work with the Nave Gallery and its visual art and music projects. The gallery is a partnership between CHPC and ARTSomerville (www.artsomerville.org). Arts of Ministry Competencies: Preaching and Worship. Pastoral Care and Counseling. Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Administration and Program Development.
