Concord Baptist Church is an urban, historically Black church established in 1916 in lower Roxbury. Since 1946, the congregation has occupied its present edifice in the South End section of Boston. Concord is a Bible-centered, ministry-focused congregation of 1200 persons with an active attendance of 1000. The Church is affiliated with the Progressive National Baptist Convention of America and the American Baptist Churches, USA.
The student will assist the senior minister in various aspects of Christian ministry and will be exposed to the day-to-day dynamics of the parish setting.
Student
Involvement: Student will assist in worship services, assist in hospital visitations, attend designated ministry meetings; will work with ministries as assigned and develop special ministry projects.

Religious Education and Spiritual Development.
Administration and Program Development.
Supervision: Weekly supervisory meeting with emphasis on theological and practical reflection. Periodic meeting with senior minister and ministerial staff.
