Project:
The First Church is a prototypical small church with a ministry to metropolitan Boston. One of the Christian congregations in the UUA, this church's preaching, music and religious education are informed by the Common Lectionary. The congregation is involved in providing Sunday worship at The Children's Hospital, but seeks other areas of social outreach. Members of the congregation are attentive to both worship and study in the congregation. The piety of this congregation is set forth in the book Theology For Pew and Pulpit.
