Project: The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice of Massachusetts is the interfaith voice for choice. We affirm women's ability to make moral decisions about their health and their lives. Through programs such as the Black Church Initiative, Clergy and Seminarians for Choice, and Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom we activate religious communities to work to ensure the availability of a full range of reproductive health services for all.

Student Involvement: The student's work will focus on the Clergy for Choice program. Clergy for Choice encompasses over 350 pro-choice clergy, seminarians, and theologians in the state who are dedicated to upholding the worth and dignity of women by safeguarding their moral right to control their reproductive future. The student will work on the following projects:

Coordinating the All Options Clergy Counseling Service by connecting women with unintended pregnancies who are in need of spiritual guidance with clergy who have been trained in All Options Clergy Counseling

Coordinating Seminarians for Choice at Harvard Divinity School, including hosting one community tea each semester, maintaining the bulletin board, and organizing one all-options counseling training

Organizing and attending programs for and with clergy, such as issues briefings, skills trainings, and interfaith services Beyond these core projects, there is room for flexibility and creativity. As needed, the student will assist in the running of the office.

Arts of Ministry Competencies: Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Administration and Program Development. Public Leadership, Community Organizing and Planning.
