Bell Project: Strong Tower International Ministries is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization which is affiliated with Strong Tower Church Boston. This is an urban Church Plant in a vibrant growing community. Currently the Church is involved in inner city restoration and reconciliation of family, finances, relationship, and community. The Church is a non-denominational organization that is Bible-based and Christ-centered. Student Involvement: This is a great opportunity for students to work with a Pastor and congregation who are energetically involved in all aspects of urban life. There are 7 major areas of concentration the student may choose to work in administration and program development. 1. Putting faith to work: business and economic development. 2. HIV/AIDS counseling. 3. Ghana: creation of trade school. 4. Sudan: building a primary school for girls. 5. Church administration development. 6. Youth ministry 7. Education Arts of Ministry Competencies: Preaching and Worship. Pastoral Care and Counseling. Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Administration and Program Development. Supervision: Weekly meeting with Pastor and additional meetings with a leadership team. Number of Students: 2 Total Stipend: $4,000.00 Type of Stipend: work study (sc 0) Notes: |
