Project:
Project Voice is a national initiative of the AFSC to promote immigrant rights in all its facets. The primary goal of PV is to have migrants, immigrants, refugees, and asylees as the central actors in the struggle for immigrant justice. PV has four main components. 1) Base building is working within immigrant communities organizing at a grassroots level. 2) Documentation of testimonies of immigrants journeys, lives, and law enforcement abuse. 3) Alliance building is identifying organizations that can partner with Project Voice to lead resources, expertise, and assistance in order to foster an immigrant-lead agenda. 4) Policy Impact focuses on legislative reform, lobbying, civic engagement, mobilizations, and media work.
