Project:
The First Church, gathered in 1653 as the first parish church, is a middle class congregation worshiping in a Bullfinch-designed meeting house. It is fairly traditional in liturgical style, with an active parish life of church suppers, discussion and study groups, and special services such as a Thanksgiving Seder and Epiphany vespers. The project will provide the student with a wide range of experiences in parish ministry in a liberal Christian church.
Student

The student's hours per week will include transportation and supervisory sessions. The bulk of his/her time will be on Sundays, with other hours arranged on a mutually convenient schedule. There is a possibility of some denominational involvement in the Boston-Cambridge area as well.

Preaching and Worship.
Religious Education and Spiritual Development.
