Project:
The Society was gathered in 1730. The present meeting house was built in 1816; a graceful addition contains three floors of vigorously used space. There are 350 active adult members and 130 children and youth. Parish interests are varied and robust. The congregation has a fierce belief in shared ministry, reflected in collaborative effort between the laity and professional leadership. All vital signs are strong religious education, social concern, denominational participation, aesthetics, spiritual discipline, sense of community. The congregation is committed to the concept of field education, and feels it has much to contribute to ministers-in-training.
