Areas for primary focus and responsibility are chosen based on the needs of the student and the church. In addition, there is a broad exposure and experience of parish ministry in general: preaching, worship, counseling, committee work, religious education (adult and children), community outreach, etc. We prefer to fill the position in the winter to begin the following fall and prefer to take a student who has completed at least one year of theological education. We are open to either 1 year full time or two year part-time internships. Internships meet the requirements of credentialing in the Unitarian Universalist Association.
