Project: Areas for primary focus and responsibility are chosen based on the needs of the student and the church. In addition, there is a broad exposure and experience of parish ministry in general: preaching, worship, counseling, committee work, religious education (adult and children), community outreach, etc. We prefer to fill the position in the winter to begin the following fall and prefer to take a student who has completed at least one year of theological education. We are open to either 1 year full time or two year part-time internships. Internships meet the requirements of credentialing in the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Student Involvement: Students are expected to be regularly engaged in worship each Sunday with primary responsibility for the service and the sermon several times a year. Students are also expected to have active involvement in children and adult religious education, pastoral counseling, rites of passage, and committee work.

Arts of Ministry Competencies: Preaching and Worship. Pastoral Care and Counseling. Religious Education and Spiritual Development. Denominational Polity.

Supervision: Weekly supervision sessions with the ministers. In addition, there is supervision a lay intern committee.

Total Stipend: $4,500.00

Type of Stipend: direct pay from site (sc 4500)

Notes: Site will pay $4,500 plus $500 toward conference/workshop expenses.
