The First Parish in Lincoln is a community church in association with the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ. There are 360 active adult members and over 200 children in the church school. The congregation embraces a wide range of beliefs,from liberal Christians to humanists; more than 25 denominations of origin are represented. The church is committed to "spiritual hospitality": strong support for each person's spiritual path and desire to grow. The congregation also gives away 20% of its operating budget each year.
Student
Involvement: A student minister working an average of 15 hours a week participates regularly in the Sunday service, preaches at least six times during the church year, leads one or two adult education courses, and is available for pastoral counseling and/or a service project. S/he will also attend some key committee meetings.

Type of Stipend: direct pay from site (sc 4000)
Notes: Student travel will also be covered. $100.00 will be paid extra for each sermon. Students who chose the full-time internship will be paid $13,000 for 10 months
